Sal Khan is the founder and CEO of Enact-ID Inc. Mr. Khan a serial entrepreneur, who has been in the high-technology arena since 1999 was founder and CEO of three other companies: VisionSphere Technologies Inc. (a development company now non-operational), which developed face-recognition technology for identity-based login, and distributed identification solutions for law enforcement; including a distributed biometric search solution and a DSP-embedded face recognition and face detection system; BlueBear, sold in 2007, which sells to law enforcement worldwide, a state-of-the-art, image-categorizing solution called LACE, developed under Mr. Khan’s leadership in partnership with York Police; and aTrust Inc., which morphed into RetroTrust and focused on multi-factor authentication technology including biometric authentication.

Mr. Khan was a member of the Canadian National Identity Management Committee, and he was a member of the Information Technology Association of Canada’s (ITAC) International Standards Association sub-group on “A Person’s Identity,” and a former member of the Kantara Alliance sub-group on Identity Assurance and Electronic Health Care.

Allen brings more than 25 years as a software architect, spanning web infrastructure, expert systems, banking, regulatory compliance, and pure R&D. With Proven Secure Solutions, Inc. Allen spearheaded a DARPA project for advanced and adaptive multi-factor authentication.

Bob is a certified Project Management Professional and software specialist with experience ranging from developing software solutions to tracking the program performance and budgets for a multinational financial institution. Bob has helped organizations transition from traditional hierarchical project management to agile paradigms involving geographically scattered project teams. Bob’s skills in communication and risk management ensure that teams deliver a quality product ready not only for today’s markets, but for tomorrow’s markets as well.

Omar is a Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and has been developing and implementing technology solutions to address public challenges for over 20 years across North America. Omar is involved in supporting numerous startups. Omar has been asked to moderate sessions, has spoken at conferences and has published articles on the subject of data processing and management.

David has been writing software for more than 30 years. He was one of five Lead Software Architects for the largest financial services company in the world. He has written software for the Joint Chiefs of Staff which is still in daily use today and he has been heavily involved in cryptography and security protocol design and implementation for 22 years.

An executive with over 35 years experience in the telecommunications, software and government sectors, in Canada and the US, Tom has held senior positions with public, private and two start-up companies. He has an excellent performance record in sales, operations, regulatory affairs, finance, and has held strategic policy positions in the federal government. He has extensive experience sitting on corporate and public sector boards.

Ken brings years of banking experience to the team and is a former District SVP at TD Bank.

Since obtaining his Certified Management Accountant designation through McGill University in 1979, Mark has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Telewatch and Spartan Bioscience, Inc, responsible for financial strategy and planning, and implementing financial reporting and controls. He also served as the Director of Finance at Alarmbridge Security Network and Controller at the Via Group of Companies.

Mark has been an integral part of the success of many small to medium size businesses. Mark has worked with a number of local start-ups by providing them with a solid accounting foundation that allows them to do what they do best knowing that their company’s structure will grow with them. Mark has also worked with existing companies to streamline their way of doing business, eliminate waste, increase productivity and keep costs down. His ability to work with individuals and companies with their own tax and planning needs is unique and is based on an ability to explain concepts in plain English.

Mark obtained his Certified Financial Planner in 2008 and is licensed by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
